Maharashtra recorded 58,924 new COVID-19 cases, on Monday (April 19).  A slight dip in its daily numbers.

Tuesday announced a prohibitory order under Section 144 for 15 days across the state and said that the restrictions will to come into effect from 8pm on Wednesday.
